Great add to any home library.
It is not the same story as the one that reached the screen in Cameron Menzie's now cult 1936 film. They just used the
title even though Wes himself worked on the screenplay. It does represent the anxieties of the 1930's about germ warfare
and airpower. That all seems quaint looking back from the atomic age.
This is for my 11 year old son and he loves it. I liked design and how all of his 5 or six books designed in the same style. I was reading when I was 10-12 years old and wanted to buy for my son.
Loved it
The book binding was attractive. The subject of the book was interesting to Me. From what I could see in the book, it made Me curious about what was on the next page.
This book is still timely and relevant, perhaps even more so, than when it was first published.
